Shipping Policy

We ship orders Monday - Wednesday - Friday typically.  If you need something shipped on a non-shipping day, or require expedited shipping, please contact us at help@harddy.com first before ordering to see if we can fulfill the request.  We will always make an effort to fulfill every request.  

We ship via USPS Priority Mail. On smaller orders, we may ship USPS First Class if weight allows for it.  Both options take typically 1-4 business days for delivery.  Boxes should be opened and plants unwrapped upon receipt. Succulent plants can lose their color during travel.  They would much rather prefer to get out of their boxes and into a great succulent soil.

Once an order leaves our nursery, you cannot cancel your order mid-shipment and are responsible for at least the shipping and return shipping rates.  If the plants are in good condition when we receive your return, we will issue a refund for the plants.  If the plants are damaged, we cannot issue a refund.  

Depending on the size of your order, we may decide to ship bare root (out of pot and with very little soil), but mostly we ship your plants in their nursery pots.

4 inch plants are mostly shipped bare root to keep shipping costs low and the plant safe for you. 

Succulents make the trip just fine using both of these methods (nursery pots or bare root), and it is best to plan for their arrival and have planting plans in place. 

We are not responsible if the package is sent to an incorrect address, so please make sure the shipping address is accurate.

We are not responsible if your order of succulents are damaged or killed from frost.  We sell and offer heat packs on every product page for purchase to ensure the safe arrival of your plants through freezing temperatures.   

Postpone ordering until the weather in your area is above 33 degrees F.  Succulents, even with a heat pack, may not do well in freezing climates while in transit. 

Lost or stolen packages are not our responsibility once your order has been shipped.

If your order or package was damaged in transit, please file a claim with USPS here. Your package is insured up to $50.
